चंद्रपूर, दि. 9 सप्टेंबर : जिल्हयातील अपूर्ण अवस्थेत असलेले महत्वाकांक्षी वनप्रकल्प तातडीने पूर्ण करून यासंदर्भात असलेल्या अडचणींचे निराकरण करावे. प्रामुख्याने चंद्रपूर-बल्लारपूर मार्गावरील बॉटनिकल गार्डनचे लोकार्पण माजी पंतप्रधान भारतरत्न अटलबिहारी वाजपेयी यांच्या जयंतीदिनी म्हणजे २५ डिसेंबरला लोकार्पित करण्याच्या दृष्टीने आवश्यक नियोजन करावे, असे निर्देश वन व सांस्कृतिक कार्यमंत्री सुधीर मुनगंटीवार यांनी दिले.
यावेळी वनविभागाचे प्रधान सचिव वेणुगोपाल रेड्डी आणि प्रधान मुख्य वनसंरक्षक आणि प्रधान मुख्य वनसंरक्षक वायएलपी राव यांच्यासह झालेल्या चर्चेत वनमंत्र्यांनी चंद्रपूर जिल्हयातील महत्वपूर्ण वनप्रकल्पांचा आढावा घेतला.

चंद्रपूर-बल्लारपूर मार्गावरील विसापूर येथील बॉटनिकल गार्डनचे लोकार्पण दिनांक २५ डिसेंबर रोजी अटलबिहारी वाजपेयी यांच्या जयंतीदिनी करण्याचे नियोजित असून यादृष्टीने आवश्यक तयारी पूर्ण करावी.ताडोबा अंधारी व्याघ्र प्रकल्पामुळे चंद्रपूर जिल्हयाला पर्यटनाच्या दृष्टीने विशेष महत्व आहे. ताडोबा व्याघ्र प्रकल्पाला भेट देण्यासाठी देश-विदेशातील पर्यटक वर्षभर येत असतात.
देशातील अत्याधुनिक बॉटनिकल गार्डन जवळच विसापूरमध्ये तयार होत असल्याने या गार्डनला देश-विदेशातील पर्यटकांनाही भुरळ पडणार आहे. वनसंपदा व वनेतर क्षेत्रातील जैविक संवर्धन साठा बघण्यासाठी जगभरातील पर्यटक, अभ्यासक, विद्यार्थी या गार्डनला भेट देतील.
Tiger & leopard safari in tadoba
या बॉटनिकल गार्डनमुळे विसापूर आणि सभोवतालची गावे विकासाचे हब म्हणून पुढे येतील. त्यामुळे जिल्हयातील आदिवासी व गरीब लोकांचे जीवनमान उंचावण्यासाठी मदत होणार आहे. या बॉटनिकल गार्डनचे काम अंतिम टप्प्यात आहे. बॉटनिकल गार्डन, कन्झर्वेशन झोन आणि रिक्रीएशन झोन अश्या तीन विभागामध्ये उद्यान तयार होत आहे. या बॉटनिकल गार्डनला भारतरत्न अटलबिहारी वाजपेयी यांचे नांव देण्यात येणार असल्याचे वनमंत्री सुधीर मुनगंटीवार यांनी सांगितले.
ताडोबात टायगर व बिबट सफारी सुरू करणार
ताडोबा अंधारी व्याघ्र प्रकल्प हे उत्तम पर्यटन स्थळ म्हणून जगाच्या नकाश्यावर यावे, यादृष्टीने आपण प्रयत्नशील आहोत. ताडोबा अंधारी व्याघ्र प्रकल्पात टायगर व बिबट सफारी सुरू करण्याचा प्रकल्प अपूर्णावस्थेत आहे. टायगर व बिबट सफारीच्या माध्यमातून येथे येणा-या पर्यटकांना वन्यजीव दर्शनाची विशेष सोय उपलब्ध होणार आहे. यादृष्टीने देखील जलदगतीने कार्यवाही करावी.
बांबु संशोधन व प्रशिक्षण केंद्रातील प्रलंबित कामे जलदगतीने पूर्ण करा
चंद्रपूर जिल्हयातील बांबु संशोधन व प्रशिक्षण केंद्र हा रोजगार निर्मितीच्या दृष्टीने महत्वपूर्ण प्रकल्प आहे. या प्रकल्पाच्या ठिकाणी बांबु कामावर फायर रिटारडंट पॉलीश करणे, आग प्रतिबंधक योजनेनुसार कार्यशाळा इमारत व स्वयंपाकगृह इमारतीचे बांधकाम करणे तसेच विद्युत विषयक कामे आदी प्रलंबित आहेत. यासाठी नुकताच १४ कोटी रू. निधी मंजूर झाला आहे. ही कामे जलदगतीने पूर्ण करण्याच्या दृष्टीने कार्यवाही करण्याचे निर्देश वनमंत्री सुधीर मुनगंटीवार यांनी दिले.
वनअकादमी पूर्ण क्षमतेने पुढे नेण्याबाबत कार्यवाहीचे निर्देश
चंद्रपूर येथील वनप्रशासन विकास व व्यवस्थापन प्रबोधिनी अर्थात वनअकादमीशी संबंधित कामांना गती देत पुढे नेण्याची आवश्यकता आहे. वनअकादमीत आपत्ती व्यवस्थापन प्रशिक्षण केंद्राच्या निर्मितीची आवश्यकता आहे. अकादमीतील रिक्त पदांची भरती करणे सुध्दा गरजेचे आहे. वनअकादमीचे वनविद्यापीठात रूपांतर करण्याच्या दृष्टीने समिती नेमून त्यादृष्टीने जलदगतीने कार्यवाही करावी. देशातील अत्याधुनिक अशा स्वरूपाची ही वनअकादमी सर्व सोयीसुविधांनी परिपूर्ण व्हावी, असेही वनमंत्री सुधीर मुनगंटीवार म्हणाले.

वनविभागाचे प्रधान सचिव वेणुगोपाल रेड्डी आणि प्रधान मुख्य वनसंरक्षक आणि प्रधान मुख्य वनसंरक्षक वायएलपी राव यांच्यासह झालेल्या चर्चेत वरील विषयांवर विस्तृत चर्चा झाली. हे प्रकल्प जलदगतीने पूर्ण करण्याच्या दृष्टीने कालबध्द कार्यक्रम तयार करण्याचे निर्देश वनमंत्र्यांनी यावेळी दिले. दर पंधरा दिवसांनी चंद्रपूरला येवून सचिवांनी या प्रकल्पांबाबत आढावा घेण्याचे निर्देशही त्यांनी दिले.
Chandrapur, Dt. September 9: The ambitious forest projects in the district which are in an incomplete state should be completed immediately and the problems in this regard should be resolved. Forest and Cultural Affairs Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar directed that necessary planning should be done with a view to inaugurate the botanical garden on Chandrapur-Ballarpur road on the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee i.e. December 25.
On this occasion, in a discussion with Principal Secretary of Forest Department Venugopal Reddy and Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Principal Chief Conservator of Forests YLP Rao, the Forest Minister reviewed the important forest projects in Chandrapur district.
The inauguration of the Botanical Garden at Visapur on the Chandrapur-Ballarpur road is planned to be done on the birth anniversary of Atal Bihari Vajpayee on December 25 and the necessary preparations should be completed in this regard. Due to the Tadoba Andhari tiger project, Chandrapur district is of special importance from the point of view of tourism. Tourists from home and abroad come to visit the Tadoba tiger project throughout the year.
As the state-of-the-art botanical garden of the country is being constructed nearby in Visapur, this garden is going to attract tourists from home and abroad. Tourists, researchers, students from all over the world will visit this garden to see the biological conservation stocks of forest resources and non-forest areas.
Visapur and surrounding villages will emerge as hubs of development due to this botanical garden. This will help to raise the standard of living of tribals and poor people of the district. The work of this botanical garden is in the final stage. The park is being constructed in three sections namely Botanical Garden, Conservation Zone and Recreation Zone. Forest Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar said that this botanical garden will be named after Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

We strive to put the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Project on the world map as a great tourist destination. The Tadoba Andhari Vyaghra Project is in the process of starting a tiger and leopard safari. Tourists coming here will get a special facility of wildlife viewing through tiger and leopard safari. In this regard also action should be taken quickly.
*Expedited completion of pending works in Bamboo Research and Training Center*
Bamboo Research and Training Center in Chandrapur district is an important project in terms of employment generation. Polishing of fire retardant on bamboo work, construction of workshop building and kitchen building as per fire prevention plan and electrical works etc. are pending at the project site. 14 crores for this recently. Funding has been approved. Forest Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar directed to take action to complete these works quickly.
DIRECTIONS OF ACTION FOR PROGRESS OF THE FOREST ACADEMY TO FULL CAPACITY*
There is a need to speed up the work related to Forest Administration Development and Management Prabodhini i.e. Forest Academy at Chandrapur. There is a need to create a disaster management training center in the forest academy. It is very important to recruit the vacant posts in the academy. With a view to converting the Forest Academy into a Forest University, a committee should be appointed and action should be taken at the earliest. Forest Minister Sudhir Mungantiwar also said that this forest academy should be equipped with all modern facilities in the country.
The discussions with Principal Secretary of Forests Venugopal Reddy and Principal Chief Conservator of Forests and Principal Chief Conservator of Forests YLP Rao discussed the above topics in detail. On this occasion, the Forest Minister directed to prepare a time-bound program in order to complete this project quickly. He also directed that the secretary should come to Chandrapur every fifteen days and take stock of these projects.
