चंद्रपूर - : राज्यातील 17 जिल्ह्यात गोवंशीय जनावरांवर लम्पी स्कीन डीसीजचा प्रादुर्भाव निदर्शनास आला आहे. सद्यस्थितीत चंद्रपूर जिल्ह्यात जनावरांवर या रोगाचा प्रादुर्भाव नसला तरी लक्षणे आढळल्यास पशुसंवर्धन विभागाचा टोल फ्री क्रमांक 18002330418 अथवा 1962 या क्रमांकावर तात्काळ संपर्क साधावा. 
जनावरांवर आढळणारा लम्पी हा रोग विषाणूजन्य असून जनावरांच्या अंगावर 10 ते 20 मी.मी. व्यासाच्या गाठी, भरपूर ताप, डोळ्यातून व नाकातून चिकट स्त्राव, चारा पाणी कमी खाणे, दुध उत्पादनात घट अशी लक्षणे आहेत. प्राण्यांमधील संक्रमण आणि सांसर्गिक रोग प्रतिबंध व नियंत्रण अधिनियम – 2009 अन्वये लम्पी त्वचा रोगाच्या प्रादुर्भावाची माहिती पशुपालक, शासनेत्तर संस्था, सार्वजनिक संस्था किंवा ग्रामपंचायत यांनी तात्काळ नजीकच्या पशुवैद्यकीय संस्थेस किंवा प्रशासनास देणे बंधनकारक आहे.

लम्पी हा आजार गोवंशीय जनावरांमध्ये झपाट्याने पसरणारा आहे. आजारी जनावरांवर औषधोपचार केल्यास निश्चित बरे होतात. राज्य शासनाने 8 सप्टेंबर 2022 रोजी पूर्ण राज्य नियंत्रित क्षेत्र म्हणून घोषित केले आहे. तसेच जिल्हाधिकारी तथा जिल्हा आपत्ती व्यवस्थापन प्राधिकरणचे अध्यक्ष अजय गुल्हाने यांच्या आदेशान्वये सर्व जनावरांचे बाजार, पशुप्रदर्शन, आंतरराज्य व जिल्हांतर्गत गोवंशीय व महिषवर्गीय पशुवाहतूक, बैलगाडा शर्यती यावर बंदी घालण्यात आली आहे. लम्पी रोगाचा प्रादुर्भाव झाल्यास पशुसंवर्धन विभागामार्फत 5 किमी. परिघातील क्षेत्रात रोगाची साथ रोखण्याकरीता लसीकरण करण्यात येणार आहे. यासाठी पशुसंवर्धन विभागाने लसमात्रा सुध्दा उपलब्ध करून ठेवल्या आहेत. सद्यस्थितीत जिल्ह्यातील जनावरांवर या रोगाचा प्रादुर्भाव झालेला नाही. तरीसुध्दा प्रतिबंधात्मक उपाययोजना म्हणून तालुका स्तरावर शीघ्र कृती दलाची स्थापना करण्यात आली आहे. प्रादुर्भाव रोखण्यासाठी जनावरांच्या मालकांनी घाबरुन न जाता जनावरांची वाहतूक, खरेदी विक्री करू नये. तसेच प्रत्येक गावात ग्रामपंचायतीमार्फत जनावरांची व गोठ्यांची फवारणी करून घ्यावी, असे आवाहन जिल्हाधिकारी अजय गुल्हाने, जिल्हा पशुसंवर्धन उपायुक्त डॉ. मंगेश काळे, जिल्हा पशुसंवर्धन अधिकारी डॉ. उमेश हिरुळकर यांनी केले आहे.
जनावरांमध्ये लम्पी स्कीन डीसीजची लक्षणे आढळून आल्यास त्वरीत नजीकच्या पशुवैद्यकीय संस्थेसोबत संपर्क साधावा किंवा पशुसंवर्धन विभागाचा टोल फ्री क्रमांक 18002330418 अथवा 1962 या क्रमांकावर तात्काळ कळवावे, असे जिल्हा पशुसंवर्धन उपायुक्त डॉ. मंगेश काळे यांनी कळविले आहे.

In 17 districts of the state, Lumpy Skin disease has been observed in cattle. At present there is no outbreak of this disease in animals in Chandrapur district, but if any symptoms are found, animal husbandry department should contact toll free number 18002330418 or 1962 immediately. Also, as a preventive measure, the animal husbandry department has informed that a rapid action force has been established at the taluka level.
Lumpy is a viral disease found in animals and it spreads 10 to 20 mm on the body of animals. Diarrhea lumps, high fever, sticky discharge from eyes and nose, less water intake of fodder, decrease in milk production are the symptoms. According to the Prevention and Control of Animal Infections and Communicable Diseases Act – 2009, it is mandatory for animal breeders, non-governmental organizations, public bodies or village panchayats to report outbreaks of lumpy skin disease to the nearest veterinary institution or administration immediately.
Lumpy disease is a rapidly spreading disease in cattle. Sick animals are sure to recover if treated with medicine. The state government has declared it as a full state controlled area on September 8, 2022. Also, by order of Collector and Chairman of District Disaster Management Authority Ajay Gulhane, all animal markets, animal shows, intra-state and intra-district movement of cattle and bullocks, bullock cart races have been banned. 5 km through animal husbandry department in case of lumpy disease outbreak. Vaccination will be done to prevent the spread of the disease in the peripheral areas. For this, the animal husbandry department has also made available the vaccine.
At present, the animals in the district have not been affected by this disease. However, as a preventive measure, early action teams have been set up at the taluka level. To prevent infection, animal owners should not transport, buy and sell animals without fear. Collector Ajay Gulhane, Deputy Commissioner of Animal Husbandry Dr. appealed to spray the animals and cows in every village through Gram Panchayat.
