चंद्रपूर - 10 दिवसीय गणेशोत्सवाचा समारोप 9 सप्टेंबर अनंतचतुर्दशी ला बाप्पाच्या विसर्जनाने करण्यात आला.
चंद्रपूर शहरात पोलिसांच्या तगड्या बंदोबस्तात श्री गणेश विसर्जन सोहळा सुरू होता मात्र जयंत टॉकीज चौकात चंद्रपूरचा राजा गणेश मंडळ पोहचताच मागे असलेल्या गणेश मंडळाला पोलिसांनी पुढे जाण्यासाठी वाट मोकळी करून दिली असता चंद्रपूर चा राजा गणेश मंडळाच्या कार्यकर्त्यांनी पोलिसांना याबाबत विचारणा केली असता पोलिसांसोबत गणेश भक्तांचा वाद सुरू झाला. त्यानंतर पोलिसांनी चंद्रपूरचा राजा गणेश मंडळातील कार्यकर्ते, गणेश भक्तांवर लाठीचार्ज करण्यास सुरुवात केली. Ganeshotsav 2022
त्याठिकाणी वातावरण बिघडले, मात्र गणेश भक्तांनी संयम बाळगत पुढची वाट धरली व जटपुरा गेट जवळ पोहचताच चंद्रपूरचा राजा गणेश मंडळाचे अध्यक्ष दीपक बेले व सर्व कार्यकर्त्यांनी ठिय्या आंदोलन केले.
जोपर्यंत त्या पोलिसांवर कारवाई होणार नाही तोपर्यंत आम्ही इथून उठणार नाही अशी भूमिका गणेश भक्तांनी घेतली. Ganesh visarjan
वातावरण चिघळण्याआधी जिल्हा पोलीस अधीक्षक अरविंद साळवे तात्काळ आंदोलन ठिकाणी दाखल झाले व सर्व गणेश भक्तांना शांतता राखण्याची अपील करीत सर्वांची जाहीर माफी मागितली.
जिल्हा पोलीस अधीक्षकांनी तात्काळ पोलीस कर्मचारी आदेश रामटेके याला निलंबित केले, व घडलेल्या प्रकाराची संपूर्ण चौकशी करण्यासाठी उपविभागीय पोलीस अधिकारी सुशीलकुमार नायक यांच्याकडे जबाबदारी सोपवली. जयंत टॉकीज चौकात नेमकं काय प्रकार घडला हे तिथे असलेल्या सीसीटीव्ही कॅमेऱ्याची तपासणी केल्यावर कळेलच.
जिल्हा पोलीस अधीक्षक अरविंद साळवे यांच्या विनंतीला मान देत दीपक बेले यांनी आंदोलन समाप्त केले, पण श्री गणेश मूर्तीचे विसर्जन करणे टाळले. Chandrapur police
विशेष म्हणजे चंद्रपूरच्या इतिहासात गणेश विसर्जन सोहळ्यात पहिल्यांदाच हा प्रकार घडला आहे.
गणेशोत्सव व विसर्जन दरम्यान कसलीही अप्रिय घटना घडू नये यासाठी खुद्द विशेष पोलीस महानिरीक्षक छेरिंग दोरजे यांनी पोलीस अधिकाऱ्यांची बैठक घेत आढावा घेतला होता.
