सावली : शेतात काम करीत असलेल्या शेतकऱ्याच्या अंगावर वीज कोसळल्याने शेतकरी जागीच ठार झाला, तर एक महिला किरकोळ जखमी झाल्याची घटना रविवारी दुपारी पाथरी पोलीस ठाणे हद्दीतील कसरगाव शिवारात घडली. Lighting strike
दिवाकर ऊर्फ शरद पंढरी मुनघाटे (वय ४५, रा. गेवरा खुर्द) असे मृत शेतकऱ्याचे नाव आहे, तर शेवंताबाई देशमुख (६०) या किरकोळ जखमी झाल्या आहेत. कसरगाव परिसरात निंदणाचे काम सुरू आहे. रविवारी दिवाकर आपली पत्नी कल्पना मुनघाटे, आत्या शेवंताबाई देशमुख व गावातील कुसुम नरुले, मुक्ता कुकुडकर यांच्यासह शेतीतील निंदणाचे काम करण्यास गेला होता. दुपारी दोन वाजण्याच्या सुमारास अचानक विजांच्या कडकडाटासह पावसाने हजेरी लावली. अशातच शेतात काम करणाऱ्या दिवाकरच्या अंगावर वीज कोसळली. त्याचा जागीच मृत्यू झाला, तर त्याच्या शेजारी असलेल्या शेवंताबाई देशमुख या किरकोळ जखमी झाल्या. याबाबतची माहिती कळतात ग्रामस्थांनी घटनास्थळी धाव घेतली. घटनेची माहिती पाथरी पोलिसांना देण्यात आली. दरम्यान पाथरीचे ठाणेदार मंगेश मोहोड यांच्या नेतृत्वातील पथक घटनास्थळी दाखल झाले. त्यांनी पंचनामा करून शवविच्छेदनाकरिता सावली ग्रामीण रुग्णालयात पाठविला. पुढील तपास पाथरीचे ठाणेदार मंगेश मोहोड करीत आहेत.
Sawli: A farmer who was working in the field was struck by lightning, killing him on the spot, while a woman was slightly injured in an incident that took place at Kasargaon Shivara in Pathri police station limits on Sunday afternoon.
The deceased farmer has been identified as Diwakar alias Sharad Pandhari Munghate (age 45, resident of Gevra Khurd), while Shevantabai Deshmukh (60) has sustained minor injuries. Condemnation work is going on in Kasargaon area. On Sunday, Diwakar along with his wife Kalpana Munghate, Atya Shewantabai Deshmukh and villagers Kusum Narule, Mukta Kukudkar went to work in the farm. Around two o'clock in the afternoon, rain suddenly appeared with thunder. Just like that, Divakar, who was working in the field, was struck by lightning. He died on the spot, while Shevantabai Deshmukh, who was next to him, sustained minor injuries. Villagers came to know about this and rushed to the spot. The incident was reported to the Pathari police. Meanwhile, a team led by Thanedar Mangesh Mohod of Pathari reached the spot. He sent the panchnama to Sawli Rural Hospital for autopsy. Pathari Thanedar Mangesh Mohod is conducting further investigation.
