मूल - नगर पालीका क्षेत्रातील नागरीकांच्या समस्या पक्षीय भेदभाव न करता तात्काळ सोडविण्याला आपण प्रथम प्राधान्य देन्याचा प्रयत्न करणार. रुजु होताच नगराची प्रत्यक्ष पाहणी केली असता शहरात अनेक विकासात्मक कामे झालेले आहेत, तरीही अनेक विकासात्मक कामे करण्याची संधी मला आहे, हे करण्यासाठी नगर पालीकेच्या कर्मचाऱ्यांनी सहकार्य करण्याची आवश्यकता असुन जागरूक पत्रकार म्हणून आपणही मला समस्या लक्षात आणून देऊन मला सहकार्य करावे जेणे करुन नागरीकांचे काम पुर्ण होणे महत्वाचे असल्याचे मत मूल नगर परिषदेत नव्याने रुजु झालेले मुख्याधिकारी अजय पाटणकर यांनी व्यक्त केले. दिनांक १० सप्टेंबर २०२२ रोजी नगर परिषदेच्या 35 व्या वर्धापण दिनानिमीत्य बोलत होते.
मुख्याधिकारी सिध्दार्थ मेश्राम यांची बदली झाल्यानंतर मूल नगर परिषदेचा कार्यभार सावलीच्या मुख्याधिकारी मनिषा वजाळे यांच्याकडे सोपविण्यात आला होता, अनेक दिवसानंतर मूल नगर परीशदेला कायम मुख्याधिकारी मिळाल्याने नागरिकांनी समाधान व्यक्त केले आहे. गोंदिया जिल्हातील देवरी येथील नगर पालीकेचे मुख्याधिकारी अजय पाटणकर यांनी नुकतेच नगर परिषदेचा प्रभार स्वीकारला आहे. याप्रसंगी नगर परिषदेचा वर्धापन दिंन मुख्याधिकारी यांचेहस्ते केक कापून साजरा करण्यात आला. परिषद स्थापनेचे चार वर्ष प्रशासकीय राजवटीत गेले त्यानंतर १९९१ ला परिषदेची प्रथम निवडणूक झाली आणि प्रथम नगराध्यक्षाचा मान प्रतिष्ठित व्यापारी धनजीभाई शहा यांनी प्राप्त केला.
नंतर सात महिला सहा सात पुरुष नगराध्यक्ष पदावर विराजमान झाले. सर्वांनीच आप आपल्या परीने विकासाचा गाडा हाकला तरी मागील सहा वर्षात विकासाला खरी चालना मिळाली.असे मनोगत प्रशासकीय अधिकारी विनोद येनुरकर, श्रीकांत समर्थ,पत्रकार विनायक रेकलवार,अशोक येरमे यांनी व्यक्त करतांना विकास हा मुख्य मार्गावर दिसत असून अंतर्गत वस्तीतला विकास बराच शिल्लक असल्याचे सांगितले. पत्रकार संघाच्या वतीने मुख्याधिकारी अजय पाटणकर यांचा पुष्प गुच्छ देऊन स्वागत करण्यात आले. पाटणकर यांनी नगराचा विकास व नागरिकांचे काम करणे हेच आपले ध्येय आहे. यासाठी आपलेही मला सहकार्य आवश्यक असल्याचे मत व्यक्त केले. नगरात गावठी डुकराचे हैदोस,अतिक्रमण, कित्येक वर्षापासून रेंगाळत असलेला विहीर गावचा रस्ता याला प्राधान्य देऊन पूर्ण करावे अशी आठवण मुख्याधिकारी चेंबर मधे पत्रकार गुरु गुरनुले ,भोजराज गोवर्धन यांनी करुन दिली. यानिमित्त पर्यावरण दुत राहुल आगळे यांना वृक्ष भेट दिले. कार्यक्रमाचे संचालन आरोग्य निरीक्षक अभय चेपुरवार,यांनी केले. भेटी दरम्यान पत्रकार राजू गेडाम, गुरु गुरनुले,अशोक येरमे, भोजराज गोवर्धन, विनायक रेकलवार,रवींद्र बोकारे, आणि वसुंधरा ग्रुपचे कर्मचारी व अन्य कर्मचारी उपस्थित होते.

After the transfer of Chief Officer Siddharth Meshram, the responsibility of Mul Nagar Parishad was handed over to Shadow Chief Manisha Wajale. Municipal Corporation Chief Ajay Patankar of Deori in Gondia District has recently taken charge of the Municipal Council.
On this occasion, the anniversary of the city council was celebrated by cutting a cake at the hands of the chief executive. After four years of the establishment of the council, it was under administrative rule, after which the first election of the council was held in 1991 and the honor of the first mayor was given to the eminent businessman Dhanjibhai Shah. Later seven women and six seven men occupied the post of Mayor. Even though everyone has pushed the cart of development in their own way, the development has got a real boost in the last six years. While expressing this, administrative officers Vinod Yenurkar, Shrikant Samarth, journalists Vinayak Rekalwar, Ashok Yerme said that the development is seen on the main road and there is a lot of development left in the inner settlements. Principal Ajay Patankar was welcomed with a bouquet of flowers on behalf of the journalists' association. Patankar's goal is to develop the city and work for the citizens. I also expressed the opinion that I need your cooperation for this. Journalists Guru Gurnule and Bhojraj Govardhan reminded that in the city the village pig's hides, encroachment, well village road which has been lingering for many years should be completed on priority. A tree was presented to Environment Ambassador Rahul Agle on this occasion. The program was conducted by Health Inspector Abhay Chepurwar. Journalists Raju Gedam, Guru Gurnule, Ashok Yerme, Bhojraj Govardhan, Vinayak Rekalwar, Ravindra Bokare, and Vasundhara Group staff and others were present during the visit.
